Essex youngster Alex Lynn made it two poles out of two after pipping Alex Fontana to top spot in Austria.
The GP3 star, who is part of the Red Bull Junior Racing programme put in a time of 1:20.585 to earn pole position.
He is racing for the Carlin team in the GP3 series, but as part of the Red Bull team, this is a big racing weekend for Lynn at his team's home circuit.
The race will be shown on Sky Sports F1 from 4.15pm this afternoon, with a second race - with a reverse grid - at 8.20am tomorrow morning.
