SINGER Tulisa has said she is "outraged" at her conviction for assaulting celebrity blogger Savvas Morgan at V Festival last year and "will be appealing" the decision.
Speaking today outside Stratford Magistrates' Court after being found guilty of assault the 25-year-old said: "This has been a roller-coaster week for me and I never wanted any of this.
"I did not assault Vas J Morgan and I'm outraged at this decision.I will be appealing it.
"There are a number of high profile witnesses who were there and not what happened.
"I urge them to come forward and tell the truth at the appeal. I'm determined to clear my name as I have already done this week. I repeat I did not assault Vas J Morgan. I'm innocent."
The popstar has been fined £200 for the offence which blogger Mr Morgan said left him with a puffy and swollen eye.
She was ordered to pay a total of £3,020 - consisting of a £2,700 contribution towards the cost of the prosecution, £100 compensation to Mr Morgan and a £20 victim surcharge, as well as the fine.
The conviction comes in the same week that a trial surrounding allegations of involvement in drugs supply against the popstar fell apart.
