RYAN ten Doeschate has insisted that his player's must not panic after being knocked out of the T20 Blast. The 19 run defeat to the Birmingham Bears on Saturday was the Eagles' fifth defeat from six games in all one-day competitions. Losing the last three of their T20 group games and then defeat by 34 runs to Leicestershire last Thursday, it has been a poor few weeks for the team. And the one-day captain admitted that it will be a real test of character for them to turn things around with a busy August ahead. He said: "It's funny, a few days or so ago you are really happy with the way everything is going, with the win over Worcestershire. But then we lost the Leicestershire game that we never should have lost and now being bitterly disappointed about being knocked out of the competition. "But there is still a lot to play for and I think the secret is just to remain clam and keep focussing on the process that we have been talking about and that has served us well. It is back to the drawing board a little bit but also to remain confident about the way we have played previously. "It was almost too easy for the first six weeks. It has been a bit of an awakening these last ten days but it will be a test for us as a group. We just need to dust ourselves off and face it like men and just get on with it."
