Firefighters extinguished a van which burst into flames this morning (Thursday, September 18).
One crew from Wickford rushed to Lower Burnham Road, donned breathing apparatus and extinguished the inferno by 7.29am.
An Essex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Police were also brought in for traffic control on the road and they recorded the cause of the fire as an accident."
