Earlier this week we reported the news that Essex councils have been ordered to double the number of pitches for gypsies and travellers by 2033.
With 440 households already on a waiting list, the Essex Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showpeople Accommodation Assessment ruled the county must up its number from 798 to 1,584.
The "daunting" prospect has already sparked debate among both the settled and the centuries-old community.
