A woman has been charged with causing death by careless driving following a collision in which a man was killed in Tiptree.
Charlie Punter, 25, of Vicarage Road, Colchester, died when the Ford Ka in which he was a front seat passenger collided with a Ford Ranger, on the B1023 on December 12 last year.
A 29-year-old woman from Colchester was taken to hospital and arrested the following day.
She has been released on police bail and will appear before magistrates in Colchester on September 25.
