Tottenham have been informed that Sampdoria striker Manolo Gabbiadini may be made available in the new year with a bid of £12 million supposedly the benchmark Sampdoria have set.
The Italian striker has scored five goals this campaign helping Sampdoria up to sixth in the league but he is possibly going to be dropped to the bench in the coming games with Sinisa Mihajlovic getting ready for life without the striker.
Problems arise when looking at Gabbiadini's contract as he is co-owned by Juventus and the striker is hopefully of making the grade there but his agent has gone on record to say that if Juventus do not want him then the striker is willing to move abroad.
Tottenham have been struggling to find a regular goalscorer this season with Emmanuel Adebayor outcasted after his comments about the clubs' fans and Roberto Soldado still troubled in front of goal.
The 22-year-old Italian striker would be a gamble by Manuel Pochettino but is a prolific goalscorer at U21 level and could be one for the future as much as the present.
