Stores in Essex have slashed their prices and laid on a range of promotions in a bid to tempt Boxing Day bargain hunters.
Argos, with stores in Chelmsford city centre and at the Chelmer Valley retail park, have launched the five day sale from today, with a range of promotions on some big name goods.
Shoppers will be able to buy the iPad mini for £179, plus an XBox One or Playstation 4 consoles for less than £300
It comes as figures also show how shoppers spent around £441,000 a minute on Christmas Day yesterday, setting a new record and racking up an estimated £636million sales.
Many then left home to join the queues for the start of today's High Street sales.
