The man, from Barking, was quizzed by police last week on suspicion of child abduction before being released on bail.
Courtney, 15, of Broomfield, was reported missing by her mother Sharon Franklin on Sunday, March 30, before she was eventually located in Barking, east London on April 15.
She is now back at home with her mother.
