Fire fighters have been tackling a blaze at Armill Lift Trucks in Braintree this morning.
Crews were called to the site on Crittal Drive at 5.52am after reports of a fire involving a temporary building containing two fork lifts and a van.
The vehicles were 100 per cent alight.
At 6.21am fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus were using one hose reel and one main jet and the fire was brought under control by 6.50am.
Crews then used one hose reel, one jet and foam to douse flames.
A joint police and fire service investigation will be carried out to establish the cause of the incident.
