One lane of the A12 is closed heading towards London this evening due to a three-vehicle accident.
Police have closed a lane on the southbound carriageway between junction 16 for Galleywood and junction 15 for Three Mile Hill after the incident, which is believed to have happened at around 3.20pm.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said that they were called at 3.20pm after an accident in which a woman was 'not seriously' injured.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene, along with one fast response car.
The woman, whose age and extent of injuries are currently unknown, was taken to Broomfield Hospital.
Queues are currently back to junction 17 for Howe Green.
