TWO Norwegian F-16 fighter jets will arrive at North Weald Airfield on Friday.
A party of 20 Norwegian war veterans will fly in to mark the 70th anniversary of their posting to the airfield in the Second World War.
They will arrive in a Hercules transporter at 2pm for a private welcome.
A hangar dance takes place on Saturday night, while Sunday will see the Norwegian Wings over North Weald community fun day and fly-in.
The event will feature an array of aviation ground displays as well as community stalls, display arena, children's activities and much more.
Tickets are £5 for all ages and the event runs between 10am until 4.30pm with displays from 11am.
