FLOODING on Parkway in Chelmsford is causing a build-up of traffic and some notable delays for motorists this morning.
The road has flooded in both directions between the A1099 Victoria Road South junction and the Viaduct Road junction causing delays as drivers navigate the conditions however it is believed to remain passable.
The floods follow heavy overnight storms across the county with hours of rain leaving routes under water and more wet weather expected today.
Vehicles travelling along the M11 northbound between Junction 6 for the M25 and Junction 7 for the A414 at Harlow will also face delays this morning because of an earlier accident.
Update 8.05am: The delays as a result of flooding at Parkway have now cleared.
