COMMUTERS travelling from Chelmsford train station are facing severe delays on their service this morning after issues with a level crossing, signalling problems and issues with the overhead line have all reportedly had knock-on effects across the network
An incident at the level crossing in Ingatestone is affecting services particularly from Colchester to Shenfield this morning.
Elsewhere there is disruption on Greater Anglia between Stansted Airport and Broxbourne due to earlier overhead line problems between Stansted Mountfitchet and Sawbridgeworth.
And in addition there are delays of up to 15 minutes on Greater Anglia between Shenfield and Liverpool Street due to signalling problem at Romford.
The collective impact of all these problems is evident from the scenes at Chelmsford's train station this morning where queues are travelling out the station doors with people attempting to get to work on time.
