A woman had to be cut out of a vehicle in Braintree this morning, following a two-vehicle road traffic accident on the A131.
Firefighters attended the incident, which took place at around 9am this morning, and were able to free the woman by 9.48am, leaving her and a child in the care of the Ambulance Service.
The woman was then taken to Broomfield hospital.
