A FREE expert talk exploring the ins and outs of company pensions has been added to the bulging itinerary at the first ever Business Exhibition Brentwood next month.

As well as around 100 exhibitors, free wine and beer and a demonstration on keeping fit in the office will be laid on for visitors. Essex-based pensions advisor Brian Marchant will be hosting the seminar aimed at bringing business people up-to-speed with what they should be offering employees.

The free-to-attend trade show, which is being held at the Brentwood Centre and is being supported by the Gazette, has been described as a "fresh approach" to business networking.

Kathryn Painter, the owner of KEM Event Management, says the first ever BEB, on December 7, will offer a "relaxed environment for people to talk shop".

She added: "This event is going to be different from those stuffy business events elsewhere.

"There will be plenty of serious businesses there, but they will be able to meet and talk to visitors in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

"Perfect in the run up to Christmas."

Exhibitors who will be meeting and greeting on the day include conveyancers, recruitment experts, accountants, consultants, hoteliers, printers, insurance companies and a will lawyer.

There will also be a raffle raising funds for SNAP (Special Needs And Parents), a Warley-based charity that supports parents of young children with disabilities.

The event will be open from 9am until 4pm and is free to attend.
