Well, now you can see the old Odeon picturehouse on Baddow Road thanks to a YouTube video.
The historical video talks of the appearance of the cinema, which used to be called The Ritz until 1947, such as a glass column, the green and gold foyer and the 'most outstanding system of illumination'.
And who remembers the jade green seating and silver curtains?
The video finally shows the cinema in 1988, standing derelict, a shadow of its former self.
